Welcome to the Romanian Orthodox Parish of Malta<\/a> \u2014 a community of faith rooted in the ancient traditions of the Orthodox Church and shaped by the warmth of the Romanian spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are a diaspora parish serving the Romanian and Moldavian faithful living on the island of Malta, as well as mixed families, English-speaking Orthodox Christians, and anyone seeking the beauty of Orthodox Christian worship. Our parish falls under the Diocese of Italy<\/strong>, within the Metropolis of Western and Southern Europe, under the omophorion of the Patriarchate of Romania<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our services are celebrated at St. Roque’s Church<\/strong> (Knisja ta’ San Rokku), St. Ursula Street, Valletta \u2014 a gracious 17th-century Baroque church offered to us by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Malta. We are deeply grateful for this fraternal act of Christian generosity, which allows us to worship freely in the heart of Malta’s historic capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Divine Liturgy is celebrated in both Romanian and English<\/strong>, so that every member of our community \u2014 whether born in Romania or raised here in Malta \u2014 may fully participate in the life of the Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
