HUMANITARIAN APPEAL – LET\u2019S HELP GHEORGHE GET HOME \ud83d\ude4f<\/strong><\/em> 19\/08\/2026 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dear friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have known about Mr Gheorghe Misaila\u2019s<\/em> difficult situation for some time. A few months ago, I was contacted by Mr Andrei Fr\u0103\u021biman, who told me about Gheorghe and the difficult circumstances he was facing here in Malta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, a few days ago, Gheorghe suffered a severe stroke<\/em> and was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stroke has left him paralysed on his right side and unable to speak. At the moment, he needs assistance with almost everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is now medically stable and can be discharged from the acute hospital setting, but he still needs rehabilitation and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been in contact with his family, and we believe that the best solution now is to help bring him home to Romania<\/em>, where members of his family can look after him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gheorghe does not have a job and is in a very difficult financial situation, so he simply cannot cover all the costs involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most importantly, he cannot travel alone. The doctors have recommended that he be accompanied during his journey to Romania by someone who can assist and supervise him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that a family member needs to travel from Romania to Malta, collect him, and then travel back to Romania together with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We need to cover:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • 3 plane tickets – one Romania-Malta ticket for the family member and two Malta-Romania tickets for their return<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • transport from Mater Dei Hospital to the airport<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • transport from Bucharest to his home or to the place where he will continue his treatment and rehabilitation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • medication<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • adult nappies and other basic care products<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • any other necessary expenses that may arise during the journey and during his first days back in Romania<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    At the moment, we don’t know exactly how much everything will cost. We are trying to work out all the arrangements and find the safest and most affordable way to get him home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    But in the meantime, we can start helping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you can contribute \u20ac5, \u20ac10, \u20ac20 or whatever you can afford<\/em>, every little bit will help us get closer to bringing Gheorghe home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
