Each day carries profound meaning, guiding the faithful through the final moments of Christ\u2019s earthly life \u2014 from His triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, to His Passion, Crucifixion, and ultimately His glorious Resurrection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The services, known as <strong>Denia (Bridegroom Services)<\/strong>, are rich in symbolism, prayer, and hymnography. They invite us to reflect, repent, and prepare our hearts to receive the light of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd25 The Night of the Resurrection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The highlight of <strong>Orthodox Holy Week Malta 2026<\/strong> is the Night of the Resurrection. The service begins in darkness, symbolizing the tomb, and at midnight, the Holy Light is shared among all faithful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This moment represents the victory of life over death, light over darkness, and hope over despair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf5e Holy Communion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those who wish to receive Holy Communion are encouraged to prepare through fasting, confession, and prayer.
